Dovefield House - Modern 3 Bed Home from Home - Alton Towers, Uttoxeter Races

A fabulous house and perfect location to visit Alton Towers. Positive: We booked this location as somewhere to stay for a trip to Alton Towers and it was a short (approx 10-15 minute) drive away so it was perfect. We loved that this was a beautifully decorated and well-maintained house with a really lovely 'home from home' feel to it being in a very nice residential area with great neighbours. It was very close to local amenities with Tesco just a few minutes walk away as well as a leisure complex within a short walking distance too - So much so that my kids decided to spontaneously book a game of bowling on the evening we arrived and they had a great time. Loved that there was a family bathroom, an ensuite shower room and a downstairs loo - As a family of 5 that is always mega helpful for when it's time for showers, brushing teeth etc. There was everything we needed provided. Hosts were so welcoming and helpful by texting to ensure that everything was ok. Really very happy with our wonderful stay in this lovely house. Thank you! Negative: Everything was great! thank you.

Home from home! Great place to stay if you're going to Alton towers. Positive: Beautiful house with everything needed. Location was great for Alton towers (we had a car). Property a couple of mins drive from a Tesco and Lidl. Negative: Nothing

great base if you need to be close to the centre of Uttoxeter Positive: The hosts responded to my enquiries promptly and were very helpful

Thank you Positive: The location was minutes walk from the racecourse and really close to supermarkets and city centre shops, which was great. However, there were road works when we were there, which meant we had troubles getting back to the house after 7pm. I understand the works will finish on the 26th of June.
